Many sides,one site.
Ganzul Dolingor is a fashion designer who also works across performance, digital media, photography and art direction. The aim was a portfolio that reflects all of those sides, with an experimental and fluid design. I designed it and built it.
Five projects behind the lines

Ganzul isseventy-one things.
The Index is one sentence, repeated. Every line starts with “Ganzul is” and ends on a different word, seventy-one lines in all. As you scroll, the line in the middle turns bold and a picture of the work appears in the corner.
Five of the lines lead to a project. When one of them reaches the middle, its word erases itself and the project’s name types out in its place. The list loops back to the start, so there is no bottom to reach.
From the first build to the final one

Or drop the listand wander.
A switch at the top right turns the Index into a Gallery. The Gallery lays the archive out as a loose field of small images. The ones near the cursor grow and come into focus, the rest stay small and faded, and the field drifts as you move.

Built,and one lesson.
What I’d change. The Index holds the scroll while a project name types out. It gives each project a beat, but on a fast scroll it can feel like the page is stuck. I’d test a shorter pause, or let the scroll carry on and finish the typing in place.
