Luxury direction,digital production.
Beige Pill is a Paris and London creative studio and consultancy, founded by creative director and fashion editor Jiawa Liu. It makes advertising, experience design and media for brands and fashion media.
At Future Corp Paris I was part of a three-person creative team, and I supported the design of the studio’s new website.
“A site that carries the studio as it is.”

One name,eight typefaces.
The Beige Pill project folder holds trial files of eight FK typefaces, from plain grotesks to the tall, condensed Screamer and the pixel-built Raster. Set side by side, the same two words feel very different.
The live site uses FK Raster. Every client name is set large in it, right over the work.
The name in each trial typeface

Set for this page from the trial font files in the project folder.

The work first,the words last.
The homepage is a reel. Each project fills the screen with the client’s name set large over the image, and the next one arrives through a cut-out of dots or soft shapes. The menu is just two labels, [A] Beige Pill and [B] Info & Services. The studio’s story, services and selected clients come at the end, after the work.
Screen recordings of the live site. The studio has kept adding work since my time on the project.

Live,and one lesson.
What I’d change. The reel lets the work speak, but a first-time visitor only learns what Beige Pill does at the very end of the page. I’d bring one line about the studio into the first screen.
I supported the website design as part of Future Corp Paris’s three-person creative team.
